CFAA Registered Fire Alarm Technician

Someone who has completed the CFAA program and passed both the theory and practical exams, and maintains registration through continuing education. Not a certificate of qualification under the trades system — there is no fire alarm technician trade in Ontario — but the CFAA program is one of only two accepted by the Ontario Fire Marshal, making it a legal route to performing Fire Code testing, inspection and alteration work.
